Day 2…
It’s Father’s Day here in the UK, and I’ve been spoilt and given loads of love which is nice.
But what’s also been wonderful is that as word spreads about all this, folks are jumping in to help.
From the other side of the world, Izzie jumped in today to tinker with the website 🥰 and more small businesses have offered to share advice and support.
Also, where I work now people have sent kind messages too.

The decision has been made…
So day one since I find out that this might be actually coming true. The reaction from people when I tell them is of huge excitement, I’m a little nervous I have to admit.
But from 2027 it looks like I’ll be going out on my own, I mean properly this time, not like the two side hustles… Acorn & Stoop - my web design and small business support company. Not like Bellinger’s business, a company set up to open us up to working more outside our day jobs.
This time, I’m all in. Leaving the regular income and cotton wool provided by corporate life and doing the thing I thought I’d never do.
Still I have a run up, and in this time I’ll be learning about setting up and running a small business, and finding out who want to collaborate and join in the fun.
Within moments of the decision being made, some great people like Amantha King, Lucy Turner, and Sarah Burke-Mullins were already being incredibly supportive and asking all the right questions.
So I started straight away with tightenng up the website, and offering the three things I think that I love to do the most.
Watch this space, I’m not much of a writer so perhaps this will become a vlog soon.
Oh, and the picture, that’s how the day began, running with the family in one of my favourite places in the world.
